It was easy to forecast. With very few exceptions, there is a fairly long lag time between when the project is bid and when it is shot. There is as you can imagine, a lot of coordination and if it is a steel structure it takes a couple of weeks to get the shaped charges made up. You have to work at a minimum about 6 months ahead of yourself in order to keep the pipeline full. I am looking at 2 jobs now that aren't going to happen until 2008!

32 that I know of. A lot of the industrial jobs you never hear about. I am counting the bridges as 1 structure. Some people would count a bridge as 32 different structures (10 spans+20 piers+2 abutments) but I am not. Here are the current totals but I could be a little low.

US-32
Canada-6
UK-15
Germany-7
Spain-4
Mexico-1
Italy-5
China -11
Bahrain-1
Saudi Arabia-1
Iraq-2
Russia-2
Offshore-9

Thanks for the update, Robert. He just called me to tell me he picked up his passes yesterday. I wish I had the time to go up, but the summer rush has started early for me. :D

It looks like the Shearaton Hotel in Raleigh is going to be imploded soon.
