Police have shut down a metal recycler in south Seattle that officers say was taking stolen items, no questions asked. In a seven-month investigation detectives found that Everbright International paid for wires, signs and equipment that was clearly marked as property of the state Transportation Department, Qwest and Puget Sound Energy. Police say officers arrested the owner's wife today for investigation of trafficking in stolen property. Police say the owner is in China.
