Update: A council member, Angela Hunt says she plans to make a motion Wednesday to delay this vote to study whether Reunion Arena could still be used for some purpose.

Hunt acknowledged, though, that it may simply be too late to attempt to repurpose the arena, especially since the city has already auctioned off most of the building's contents, from its seats to its flooring to the artificial turf that covered its sports surface.
