A 24-year-old man has died from injuries sustained from a farm accident July 27.

Joseph Petershiem was tearing down a silo at 9:46 a.m. July 27 at 17916-300th St. in Clarissa with five others. Petershiem was inside the silo when he was struck by a piece of metal that fell from the roof, Todd County, MN Sheriff Peter Mikkelson said.

Petershiem was taken to the Long Prairie Hospital and then airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, where he died last week.
