As Damon said we have had contact over the years about posting press releases. I decided that whether it is a new hire, a new contract, completion of a project, etc. everybody is welcome to share press releases, we feel it is no different then Atlas Copco, or any other company post about their new piece of equipment or attachment, which Atlas Copco does each and every time.
We created this place for people to share information with each other whether it be demolition news or press releases, to me it
You are not adding substance, you are adding self-promotion, which I guess I have no problem with and I am proud of you, but what are you really gaining from it?
My company is also listed on the D&RI, ENR, and McGraw Hill lists but I use other avenues to distribute the info, because I would rather focus on my potential clients, then my competition getting the info.
I am sure I have seen you at the IRA shows in Vegas & Myrtle Beach, etc and probably others, those are more the people we focus on, but I guess if you want to tell all of us the information its all good.

To All
I have went over with James about this many years ago. This part of the forum is the appropriate place to put this because this is industry news. If your looking for means and methods that is in another part/section of the forum. The press releases we put out are no different then any of the news submitted in this section and are directly related to the industry. By the amount of clicks on the stories we have submitted other people seem to have interest (as the one comment states, skip over it if its not of interest to you). As always we are trying to add substance to the forum and website in general. Best Wishes
Whoever is distributing your press releases should be fired.
Hate to break the news to you, but only demolition contractors are looking at this forum. You don't have Tishman or Nevada Power and Light looking at all your press releases and accomplishments on this forum saying "wow" we should call Baker or Nacirema??
This a forum, for demolition contractors. I know that you guys are big in the industry, but I think what people are coming here for is advice on: How to trip a stack, are UHD's really worth the money, what shears are best, how much does a CY of concrete weigh?
Those are more likely the questions being answered and asked. If you want to advertise buy a billboard on Rt 3 or 46 lots of viewers going into NYC.
