R. Baker & Son is proud to announce that the 2008 year marked our fifth year of non-recordable OSHA incidents. A record like this can only be accomplished through the dedication to safety and teamwork of our employees, subcontractors and clients.
During 2008, R. Baker & Son amassed 212,896 work hours without an OSHA recordable incident / accident. These man hours were worked on projects ranging from complicated heavy machinery rigging projects to technical building demolition and decommissioning projects on active facilities. Each project was staffed with a site safety officer who enforced the R. Baker & Son corporate Health and Safety Plan as well as client specific safety standards and, of course, all OSHA and ANSI standards.
R. Baker & Son prioritizes safety on each and every project as well as throughout the organization. Everyone, from the President of the company to the laborers as well as any subcontractors, is actively involved in R. Baker & Son
