I talked to David Griffin of DH Griffin yesterday.
He said they will be imploding some of the plant and the stacks at the Pillow-Tex plant and using conventional demolition for the rest of the project. The implosion will take place this Saturday. Dykon will perform the implosion. The 1-million-square-foot building should come tumbling down at 7 a.m. Saturday. The seven-story building is expected to create debris 15 to 30 feet tall.
So I guess let the debate begin. (see: http://www.demolitionforum.com.....d.php?t=39 )
He said they also have about 100 workers working in the hurricane
