I too met Pat while working at Nuprecon. Pat was a hard working, hard driving man. I considered Pat a friend as well, and I am saddened to hear this news.

James - Have the arrangements been made yet? I'm down in Oregon and would like to try to make it up.

I first meet Pat back in fall of 2000 while he was working for Nuprecon, at the University of Washington Suzzallo Library demolition project. There we struck up a work related friendship. Later, we meet up again after the Nisqually Earthquake in February of 2001 at the Starbucks Headquarters in the SODO district of Seattle. There we worked on several aspects of the demolition project due to damage caused by the earthquake and got to know him on a personal level. After a year or so of being out of touch, I again ran into him at the NDA Safety Summit in California where he was just coming back after some time off to recover for an illness and during that weekend we spent several times talking about life and the demolition industry as a whole.

Sadly Pat passed away this weekend and he will truly be missed.

Pat Cunningham was a great friend and colleague. May you rest in peace, my friend.

I and the Demolition Forum team would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family.
