I see the high reach went to A. Russo. What are they using it for these days?

Alot of work in Manhattan, it was recently working on a MTA job for the Seven Line extension taking down a vent buidling. Russo is a bigger company then it looks. here are some photos from a job.

All, or most of their salters are for sale on a NJ auction site. I feel terrible, but it is a lesson to be learned by all of us. Everything changes, and we must be accustomed to the "new' normal..which is ultra agressiveness, unbelievable competition, and most are just running money through the company just to do it.

It's sad to see any company go out of business, but I could see this coming with Nacirema. They had way to many new equipment and trucks, not to mention 4 uhds. I seen pics on the internet of them running dash five komatsu excavators, that could last 25+ years in service, and no need to buy the newest excavators, or equipment. The 385cl UHD they had was to big to keep working unless they had constant none stop demolition of 10+ story structures. Their 330bl, was the perfect sized uhd in my opinion, small enough for conventional demolition, big enough for larger buildings. It's sad to see them go out of business, but maybe other demolition companies can be successful with their old machines.

I think they sold they're big LRD to Grammercy and it's "working" at Giants Stadium right now. I heard they sold another one, but not sure to who. Someone in the NY market. I've been told they have sold a bunch of equipment but still have quite a bit.

They HAVE closed up their demo division. They have notified many of their clients they are going to continue to run the trucking company and scrap yard. Cash flow is everyone's issue these days.

Probably because the demo industry is in tough shape right now, you see all the undercutting going on in bidding right now. It very tough to turn a profit right now especially in N jersey and NYC.....
