The Colts season is over but the RCA Dome isn't finished just yet. The Dome will bring in a few more dollars before it's destroyed.

"You've got monster trucks at the end of January, you've got Supercross coming in February, you've got a few more conventions and trade shows that will use that space," said Bob Schultz of the Convention and Visitors Association.

The final convention at the RCA Dome ends April 13th. Demolition is expected to begin in May. As the Dome comes down, crews will simultaneously start building a new addition to the Convention Center.

"As they move toward the south, they will start the Convention Center expansion on that north piece. So you'll see the doubling of the Convention Center takes place this summer and into the fall," said Schultz.

While plans are in the works to tear down the Dome, Lucas Oil Stadium continues to go up.

Crews began pouring the concrete floor Tuesday morning. The process will take a couple months to complete.

A look around the stadium shows the concrete bowl turning blue as 14,000 of the 55,000 stadium seats are in place.

Just outside, workers shore up the sides of an underground tunnel that will connect the stadium with the Convention Center.

The cold weather is slowing construction, but not stopping it.

"Everything in general is going to plan. There are setbacks everyday. That's why there are so many people out here to manage and coordinate and deal with all the issues. All in all things are moving well," said Schultz.

The plan is to have the stadium ready by August.
