The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has granted $1.7 million to the Marshfield Municipal Airport to help it construct a new terminal building.
The work includes the demolition of an existing airport structure, relocation of a hangar, drainage, parking and access improvements.
The new terminal, which will replace a structure about 60 years old, will house flight training classrooms, airport operations and pilot rest areas. Construction is scheduled for completion in the spring.
