A man is accused of using a scooter to steal Bobcat rollers from a demolition yard in the town.

David B. Lutgen, 65, of Grantham Court, was charged with felony grand larceny, felony possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

NY State police said Lutgen rode a motorized scooter across Main Street to United Demolition, where he stole several steel rollers that he loaded on to his scooter. Police said Lutgen intended to sell the stolen goods at local scrap yards.
