A Florida man was taken to a hospital Sunday morning shortly after the implosion of the old Amway Arena in Orlando, a TV station reported.
According to WFTV in Orlando, a man watching the implosion nearly two blocks away on Amelia Street -- the same road on which the arena was located -- was struck in the leg by a piece of rebar, the reinforcement steel used in the arena's construction.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital, though the injury did not appear to be serious, WFTV reported.
