Crews knock down walls of local landmark.
Crews continued major demolition of the former Nabisco plant in Buena Park, Ca today, as the local landmark begins to fade away.
Crews began this week knocking down walls as part of the demolition project that will continue through December, said Michael Gaumond, vice president of development for Seligman & Associates, the site's owner.
Demolition of the Nabisco plant began in June with a focus on the plant's interior.
Seligman has expressed an interest in placing a "big-box" store, a 100,000-square-foot retailer, and smaller shops on the site. Developers have not yet submitted plans.
