I read the demolition was delayed a little bit, to do a guy climbing on the roof across the street.

Here is a guy that took some pictures that you can view as a slide show They are in 1 second intervals: Michael Shakes They are in 1 second intervals.

unfortunately the video is on a password protected site so I can't post a link. It was a perfect shot. The blasted it off the top of the roof.

Someone imploded the 20 story Clyde tower in Birmingham, England and there was little to no coverage at all. I guess implosions or "blowdowns" as the Brits call them are so commonplace now that they draw scant interest. :confused:

Now that you mention it..............yes. But some more so than others. It's tough getting excited about a cement kiln for instance. :)

Tomorrow (2/9), a 155' tall chimney located at the old Koehler Brewery in Erie, Pennsylvania is going to be blasted. It looks like it is going to be a big dog and pony show with the Governor and a bunch of other politicians conducting a ceremony for the kickoff of the new development.
