The Knights of Columbus filed a lawsuit today against the City of New Haven to recover damages from the implosion of the New Haven Coliseum. The implosion was in January of 2007.
The Knights of Columbus claims their headquarters sustained "significant property damage" as a result of the implosion including broken windows, damage to their drainage system, roof, parking garage and courtyard. They say the cost of the damages exceeds $1 million.
The lawsuit also names the Stamford Wrecking Company and Demolition Dynamics Company.
