I think that is exactly what is was. Kind of saying the "boom" is over and it's time to move on. But yet the Mayor wanted to stop it, so I don't know.

You'd be surprised how many people want to see a building shot! I just did a 4-story that I could have taken down in 1 day with an excavator. I could have saved the contractor alot of time and money...but nooo! We shot the building and all went well. The bottom line was he spent 300% more to shoot.

That is kind of what I was thinking. But I think city officials want to "Make a scene" maybe link it to the dot.com implosion. :dunno:
