The implosion of Building 82 in South Charleston has been delayed for a second time.

The landmark on MacCorkle Avenue was set to be imploded on Saturday, January 24, 2009, but Mayor Frank Mullens states that it has been delayed and no new date has been set yet. It was initially scheduled for January 11. Mullens says the demolition crews ran into some issues with removal of fiber optic cables.
