That bridge was demolished because of a design flaw. A similar one collapsed on it's own. There are 98 more just like it that will more than likely have to be blasted too

They opened the road up 12 hours early. That is no small feat. I hope they had incentive clauses in their contract. Too frequently the contract is too one sided with provisions only made for liqudated damages. IMO, they need more contracts with incentive/disincentives built in (a.k.a. carrot and stick)
