My buddy came home for the weekend He is working down in Louisiana. He told me he is getting paid 2 and 1/2 times his normal wage. Up here he was making $30 an hour operating a hoe. He said he wasn't doing much wrecking, mainly clearing trees.

I was talking with a contractor out of alabama about the clean up contracts and he said they are paying $6.oo a cuyd in the truck. For that $6.00 you have to provide the truck, driver, wheel loader, operator and fuel. The dump is 15 to 20 miles from where you are working, they pay the tipping fee's. No payment for mobilization. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
