A human skull was found by a demolition crew in a former doctor's office in Hampton, VA but police don't think that foul play was involved.
The discovery was made about 2:45 p.m. in a condemned building at 15 Mallory St. The crew stopped work and called police, who set up an incident scene.
Hampton police spokeswoman Allison Good said a medical examiner confirmed that the remains were a human skull.
"It is very old. It does not seem to be foul play," she said.
The medical examiner has ruled out a theory that the skull could have been an old training aid used in the doctor's office.
Good said the building remained sealed off, and police had applied for a search warrant for the scene.
Investigators were scouring the building to see whether there were any more bones.
