Wilkes-Barre, PA officials have extended the bidding deadline for demolition companies interested in the Hotel Sterling project until 9:30 a.m. June 29.
25 companies showed up to survey the building and gauge their interest in bidding to demolish and remove the hotel.
Because of the interest, the city wanted to extend the deadline to give contractors ample time to ask & submit questions.
Official bids will now be due on June 29 at 10AM on the fourth floor of City Hall in city council chambers.
