If the Ormond Hospital implosion wasn't enough, At 8 a.m. local time this morning, the Grand Palace Hotel was imploded, sending a 60-year-old, 17-story building to the ground to make way for the University Medical Center.
Controlled Demolition, Inc. was the implosion contractor.
