The demolition of the Missouri River Bridge at Glasgow will begin Monday, Sept. 8, and continue through Wednesday, Sept. 10, according to the The Missouri Department of Transportation.
The contractor has scheduled three implosions of the five spans of the bridge, according to a MoDOT news release.
The implosions are expected to occur shortly after daybreak each day.
Mon., Sept. 08 : Three spans on the west end of the bridge (lengths - 249', 316', 316')
Tues., Sept. 09: One span on the east end of the bridge (length - 344')
Wed., Sept. 10: The main span in the middle of the bridge (length - 225').
