sometimes the worst thing about the tri-state areas demo buisness is winning the job. there are people working at cost and if 20 people than have been doing this for 20 years plus each are all higher its scary. being the lowest bidder of 20 people means your really good, you have a good buyer of salvage equip, lumber ....etc....., made a mistake bidding, or a your a whore. we do 5 mil or less a year and i would happily have done giants stadium .. why you ask??? because ripping buildings down is fun and hard work is good.

So the biggest base machine and the whole kit and kaboodle fully loaded every option with the highest reach possible, what would a company be looking at after all is said and done. For example what did Ron Callari and Grace pay over at Mazzocchi for that new job they picked up a few years back. The machine had a chain on the back of the boom.
It really depends on the options.
-Cameras
-Dust Suppression
-Computer Control System
-Hydraulics
-Cab modification
-Machine and cab guarding
-Boom height vs. tool weight vs. working angle
-Transport options
Could be anywhere from $200-$450K+. That does not include the base machine. We have done everything from PC 300's up to EX 1200 and PC 1250's. Every job is a little different.
I came across an excellent article questioning the need demolish and rebuild.....
It addresses some pretty interesting ideas on where the demolition may be headed...
