The foreman of a construction site in Brooklyn is in critical condition after bricks fell on his head while he was on the job in Williamsburg Friday morning.

Police say 35-year-old Joel Fried was at a demolition site when he was injured.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration say workers were tossing bricks off the top of a building without using a debris shoot.

Fried was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
