[font=Verdana]Morristown, NJ firefighters were looking forward to using the house at 44 Court St. as a training ground to practice their lifesaving skills in a few weeks, just before it was scheduled to be demolished by a developer. [/font]
[font=Verdana]Instead, firefighters found themselves at the house a little early, and it wasn't a test. [/font][font=Verdana][/font]

[font=Verdana]A fire broke out in the three-story wood-frame house on Sunday night, gutting the home and prompting firefighters to spray thousands of gallons of water into it. No one was injured. [/font]

[font=Verdana]Morris County Prosecutor Michael Rubbinaccio said Monday that the fire originated on the third floor of the building. Inside, authorities found the remnants of a sofa, chair, table and several candles. [/font]

[font=Verdana]"The investigation also determined that homeless people had gained entry into the building and were using it for shelter, "Rubbinaccio said.[/font]
