[FONT=Verdana]Demolition crews Wednesday started tearing down the 42 year old Lady Luck Hotel, as it begins a massive renovation. The demolition is supposed to last until June 21st.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]The Lady Luck closed back in February. At the time, owners said the renovation would take about a year. [/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]The property opened in 1964. Back then it was called Honest Johns. It was renamed Lady Luck in 1968. The new owners haven't said whether they'll keep that name when the renovation is finished. [/FONT]
