Wrecking crews began knocking down the oldest and largest portion of The Pines Country Inn complex in Caledonia, TWP, MI.

Owner Ron Lammy said he plans to demolish the entire main building, which has housed a strip club, restaurant, motel and other businesses over the years.

Lammy said he'll retain 30 of 50 rooms, all of which are in two free-standing buildings just east and west of the main building. Crews began tearing down a 20-room block of the main building, which stretches from M-21 back toward the airport, and Lammy said the whole building will eventually come down.
