Demolition Begins for Haddon Township Development Project
A demolition project is beginning in Haddon Township, NJ that will finally eliminate a Haddon Avenue eyesore. The former Dy-Dee Diaper Service plant and two adjoining buildings are coming down.
The demolition clears the way for a project known as Towne Center at Haddon, which will include 200 residential units and 25,000 square feet of retail space.
Mayor Randy Teague says this is happening in the heart of the Westmont business district:
