[font=Verdana]Members of the [/font][font=Verdana]Buffalo[/font][font=Verdana] delegation to the state Assembly said $5 million is included in the pending budget for the razing of deteriorated properties in the city. [/font]

[font=Verdana]Buffalo[/font][font=Verdana] officials have cited some 4,000 properties for demolition. [/font]

[font=Verdana]Lawmakers said another $5 million will be used for continued development of the [/font][font=Verdana]Buffalo[/font][font=Verdana] [/font][font=Verdana]Lakeside[/font][font=Verdana] [/font][font=Verdana]Commerce[/font][font=Verdana] [/font][font=Verdana]Park[/font][font=Verdana] and adjacent waterfront property along the [/font][font=Verdana]Union[/font][font=Verdana] [/font][font=Verdana]Ship Canal[/font][font=Verdana]. [/font]

[font=Verdana]The state Legislature is expected to approve the 2006-07 budget on Friday. [/font]
