Well it looks like a no go for now.

The president of the demolition company says previously unknown contamination has been found and he is suspending demolition of the smokestack set for this weekend.

Two structures, including the mill's 280-foot high smoke stack, will be brought down using explosives on Sunday, January 29th. The old Sappi mill in Muskegon, MI was built in 1899.

Melching Demolition is the demolition contractor.
