A piece of heavy machinery sank into a demolition site and knocked out power to several local homes in the Hill District in Pittsburgh.
Contractors were demolishing a building Saturday along Colwell Street when a crane fell over.
It ended up on its side in the middle of all the debris.
When it fell, the crane hit some power lines cutting service to some homes and businesses.
Neighbors said it is an inconvenience but contractors were trying to do a good thing.
Dan Foster said, "You had a lot of homeless people that were living in there. So they were really doing a great thing to do that. But obviously accidents happen and there was an accident."
No one was hurt and there was no damage to nearby cars.
There is no word yet whether all service has been restored.
