It's actually a boon and a bane for the demolition industry. It's a boon for all the contractors who bid their jobs when copper prices were lower and a bane to the contractors who were set to bid the latest round of copper smelters to be demolished earlier this year. Now the Owners have decided they can make money at $2 per lb. and have decided to put them back into production.
