James, Do you have any other information on this?

Wolf, We are having a rough go of it. My hope is that when the auto plants start re-tooling we will be real busy with strip out work. Thanks for thinking of us.

This is good for Michigan. I talk to my friends there, and although it seems like times are tough all over, it seems like Michigan is having a really rough go of it. Hopefully, better times are not too far off. Keep the faith, men.

The city of Flint, MI has been awarded $1.27 million to demolish vacant houses.

The City Council on Monday night accepted the grant from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

The state funding is in addition to the $1.05 in federal funds the council approved for demolition in May.

Tracy Atkinson, director of the city's community and economic development department, said the department has a list of all the Flint properties in need of demolition.

The list will be sent to each council member so they can have a say in prioritizing the demolition projects in each ward, she said.
