Taxpayers are paying $1.6 million to settle a stadium-related lawsuit filed in 2004. A private company, 312 Walnut Limited Partnership, claimed demolition of an elevated pedestrian and vehicle ramp connected to the building that crossed Fort Washington Way hurt its business.
The company owns the building at 312 Walnut St., the former site of the ramp that used to connect the building to Cinergy Field where the Reds played until Great American Ball Park opened in 2003.
