The chemical plant at the centre of a fire in Cheshire may have to be demolished as it is so badly damaged.
Investigations are beginning into what caused Monday's blaze at the Aztec chemical works in Crewe, Cheshire.
The fire service described it as a major incident and said it was lucky no-one was injured in the explosions.
At its height 85 firefighters tackled the blaze and nearby buildings were evacuated. Most roads have now been reopened.
Quakers Coppice and Gateway across from the Audi Garage in Crewe are still closed and firefighters are still in attendance dampening down.
The firm believes the fire began in a machine which shreds aerosol cans.
There were no reported injuries.
