I knew Washington State had a pretty low worker ratio, it doesn't surprise me that California is that high, But I must say that is higher than I thought it would be.

Side Note: I remember going to the NDA Safety Summit in LA a couple years ago and they had a Cal-Osha speaker there and let me tell you he was about as interesting as watching paint dry. The guy mumbled half the time, and talked, talked, and talked, finally Todd Tredick had to stop and announced lunch was ready about 20 before the speaker was supposed to end. Thanks Todd, I still appreciate it still, to this day.

We are doing our 40 hour OSHA this week and they had a really interesting slide/factoid.

CALOSHA has 1 inspector per 106,278 workers
Washington State OSHA has 1 inspector per 21,655 workers
Federal OSHA has 1 inspector per 58,565 workers
