
North Platte, NE businessman Alan Erickson pleaded guilty to two counts of removing asbestos containing materials in U.S. District Court.
Erickson, the owner of Weathercraft Roofing of North Platte, was indicted July 20, 2005, by a federal grand jury for demolishing a building that released asbestos into the atmosphere. Erickson has maintained that the government knew about the asbestos all along and allowed the demolition to take place.
