That was pretty interesting. We have done some research through the internet, speaking to people in the industry and periodical research and have identified slightly over 50 (53 to be exact) worldwide that perform implosions. So far this year there have been 87 implosions with the biggest and most complex being the building in Ft Worth. Does this sound right to you?

There is also an implosion of a building in Miami in two months time. But what I would really like is something different or unusual.
There is a cement plant being imploded but I have seen the pictures and that doesn't look too exciting.
We are conducting our research in order to find out how many companies actually do this work. We have to rely on periodicals and websites because this information is not very easy to find.

The building is the Ramallo Building; (I am guessing its Ramollo Brothers Printing) on Durante Street, Hato Rey

The building is set for implosion at around 8:00 a.m. local time on the 16th of July.

Controlled Demolition and Recycling is doing the work.

I am writing an article for the largest Spanish language publication on demolition by explosives. Naturally, I would like to showcase projects in Spanish speaking parts of the world. I have several in Mexico and would like a couple of others in other countries.
I have put in several calls to the San Juan Mayor's office. The implosion is actually located in Hato Rey, a suburb of San Juan.
