By the end of the week, Marshall County, IN will have awarded bids to bring down the old jail building and put up a parking lot.

Bids were opened by the Marshall County Commissioners Tuesday for contractors interested in the project and they received two bids for the demolition along with one bid for the construction of the parking lot.

Brandenburg Industrial Service of Chicago put in a bid of $94,210 to take the building down while Jackson Services of Rochester, Indiana placed a bid of $86,500. Only one company
