I will go out on a limb and say Brandenburg, Northwest Dismantiling or MCM perhaps..... those are just a few companies that I think would or could bid for a job of that magnitude....

An anticipated demolition contract for Tiger Stadium won’t be awarded until January at the earliest.

The Detroit Economic Development Corp., a quasi-public body that controls the stadium site, had been expected to award a contract to one of seven bidders at its meeting this morning.

But the staff of the Detroit Economic Growth Corp., the entity that negotiates development deals for the city, needed more time to complete the necessary review of the bids, said Scott Veldhuis, project manager for DEGC.

The EDC is likely to take up the matter sometime in January.
