This lady got close to $8,000 because she said the noise from the heavy equipment working next door killed her Chinchillas :rolleyes:
It kind of reminds me of the time a public housing project was imploded in Philadelphia a couple of years ago. The specs called for the contractor to provide a pet psychotherapist for any animals that couldn't be evacuated from adjacent residences who might be traumatized by the noise. If I remember correctly, the psychotherapist charged $65 per hour.
