Gotcha! I thought that is what you were saying, I just wanted clarification. Sounds and looks like the building was a beast.

When you attempt to pull a column that has over 2,000,000 lbs of weight on it, a Hyundai 450 just can't get the job done. There were 12 columns that were to be pulled. When you can't pull 1...the machine does not have the "horsepower". In comparison, a 2X8 stick of dynamite has 76,000,000 hp. It proved more horsepower when the building came down after being shot!

What do you mean, didn't have the horsepower?

The job was tough because the building was prepped to trip and the game plan changed when the equipment used didn't have the horsepower! We actually shot through the webs and had 3 beams holding up over 1,500 tons of building. What made this job difficult was, 1st...working for Bayer, 2nd...no flanges to use shape charges.
It came down safely and broke up very well though!
