[font=Verdana]Ohio Gov. Bob Taft announced nearly $9 million in grants Wednesday for three brownfield cleanup projects in [/font][font=Verdana]Southwest Ohio[/font][font=Verdana]. They are: $3 million to Cincinnati for demolition and remedial activity for the Millworks commercial development on Forrer Street in Oakley; $3 million to Hamilton to clean up the former Mercy Hospital site at 100 Riverfront Plaza for a combined retail/office and residential project along the Great Miami River, and a $2.8 million grant to the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority to acquire and clean up the former Celotex plant in Lockland for use as a business park.[/font]
