I have been very busy working on some stuff on the back end I haven’t had a chance to let everyone know, what’s new here.

So as you can see we have a new logo and completely different look. And of course, as many of you have noticed, we have a new front page. This is where we will just keep you updated with things.

We will be constantly updating and adding things to the front page, as well as adding similar pages for other projects coming up.

Currently there are a few hiccups and design issues that we are working on. If you see something that isn't correct or that you are having an issue with, please let us know.

Next, we have redone the Inside the Industry area; subscribers will be able to view current and past issues of Inside the Industry with screenshots, to make sure that you didn’t miss an issue.

This is currently up and working. If you are a subscriber, you can visit the 2010 newsletter page. We also have links to the 2008 and 2009 issues. On June 1st, we will be permanently moving the newsletters to are, please bookmark it, or please be aware this will be the new are to read the newsletter.

Next up, we have a new directory. For $50.00 for I year (12 months) your company can be listed in our directory. We have it broken down in several categories from Demolition Contractors to service providers. You will be able to have a link to your website, as well as all company information. If you would like to add your company to our directory, please visit our payment page.

Our new contractor resource is also up and running. We have added a few pages, with more on the way, like material weights and conversions, along with a couple others. We are currently working on more pages now and should have more up shortly.

Also we have a contractors licensing section, we have listed all 50 states of where to obtain contractor’s license, with addresses, phone numbers, and links to the states site.

Next we have a new VIP Membership program. For $100.00 (12 months) you can become a VIP Member of the Demolition Forum Community, which will include a number of benefits such as, a private VIP Members forum area, custom user title, a 12 month free listing in our directory ($50.00 Value) and exclusive discounts from our supporting vendors. These companies have stepped up in their support and are dedicated to bringing their best deals to our VIP Members. We are finalizing details with some venders now and we will be posting the soon. If you would like to read about the VIP Membership you can visit: VIP page . Again, we should have list of participating vendors up shortly.

A new calender! We will be listing all the industry trade shows and special events, like implosions, etc. If you would like to add your event or show to the page, please contact us.

Okay, so now for some of the bad news:

The Gallery! We are working to find the best replacement for the gallery, we may just use the built-in gallery, but we are looking at the capabilities of it.

The company, who built the last one, is no longer supporting it as well as not making any updates to it. All the pictures are stored on the server so there will not be any that are lost. When we do find a suitable replacement, we will let you know and we will put all the pictures back up.

Upcoming projects that we are working on besides those listed above:

A new classifieds section
Blogs
Press Release Section
and more.

We are also working on a project that we think you will be very excited about. Hopefully we will be able to make this announcement and post details very soon.

Please give us your feedback, good or bad. Along with anything you would like to see added here. We want Demolition Forum to be the place for the industry and with your help and feedback, we will make it that!

Thanks for all your continued support and we look forward to hearing from you.

James
