Job Summary :
Responsible for assisting Installers for the accurate and professional installation of all Bath Fitter products at the job site according to Bath Fitter procedures and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.

Tasks and Responsabilities :
Adhere to all Bath Fitter installation standards and procedures while assisting Installers on installations and providing services
Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers
Respect customers' property and leave work area clean
Accurately complete and submit to office all necessary paperwork and photos: e.g., EOI form, job costing sheet, checklists, etc
Support in completing service calls as required
Pick-up and/or deliver supplies and materials from vendor to job site as needed
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Abide by all Bath Fitter policies and procedures
Attend and participate in regular branch and/or regional meetings and training sessions
Prioritize work activities, uses time efficiently
Professional Dress and/or uniform, neat in appearance, observing rules of good grooming and hygiene
Regular Attendance and punctuality is required
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education required. One to two years of related experience
Carpentry and/or trim carpentry and renovation experience preferred, with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level and combination square
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to use power tools (jigsaw, drill etc.) preferred
Valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record

The physical demands of the Installer Helper are constantly medium work. Occasionally includes medium/heavy work moving objects up to 100 pounds

The Installer Helper position requires the regular performance of the following activities:
Lifting 2x4 from van to staging area 5-10 times per day weighing 8 pounds
Lifting 2x4 5-10 times per day weighing 8 pounds
Lifting various hand and power tools 10-20 times per hour weighing 1-5 pounds
Lifting trim pieces 1-2 times per day weighing .5-2 pounds
Lifting walls from truck to ground to cut 1 a day weighing 15-25 pounds
Lifting sledgehammer for demotion 1-2 minutes per cycle with duration of 15 minutes weighing 7 pounds
Carrying glass door in a box 1-2 times per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 20, 75, 93 or 124 pounds
Carrying wall 1 per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 15-25 pounds
Carrying tub 1 per day for 30-500 feet including stairs weighing 38 pounds
Carrying construction waste 4-6 times per day for 30-500 feet weighing 14-55 pounds
Carrying/Wearing on work site tool belt for 2-4 hours per day weighing 2-7 pounds
Carrying table saw 1-2 times per week for 10-30 feet weighing 25 pounds
Carrying circular saw 1-8 times per week for up to 30 feet weighing 11 pounds
Pushing/Pulling claw hammer and crowbar with initial force required of 30-100 pounds in cycles up to 2 minutes with a duration of 15 minutes
Manually loosening tub seal with initial force required of 30-100 pounds in cycles up to 10 seconds with a duration of 15 minutes
Frequently or constantly standing
Occasionally sitting, bending, and twisting
Frequently or constantly walking over 9-12” barriers and up to 8 thousand steps per day.
Occasionally kneeling and squatting during demolition, plumbing, and scoring walls up to 2 minutes without break
Occasionally climbing 8”, 12”, 25”, and/or 35”
Occasionally reaching above shoulder 80” with step ladder available
Constantly reaching below shoulder 12-30” with driving, installation, demolition, and clean up
Occasionally balancing while on tub edges, bumpers of vans and carrying up and down steps
Constantly gripping/grasping with driving, tool use, and material handling
Seeing including near, far, and depth
Hearing to communicate with co-workers, customers, vendors, and hear announcements
Talking to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors
Wearing proper PPE including i.e., mask, gloves, composite shoes, etc. when appropriate

Demonstrated Skills :
Able to speak clearly and persuasively; write clearly able to read and interpret written information
Ability to work collaboratively within the team for a common goal
Able to demonstrate accuracy and completion; monitors own work to ensure quality. Looks for opportunities to improve and promote quality
