Heavy Civil Estimator – Demolition & Env. Remediation

An established construction firm in the Ann Arbor area is currently seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator for whole building demolition and environmental remediation. This company is experienced in the development of commercial, residential, municipal and industrial sites; services include:

• Site Development
• Highway & Road Construction
• Bridge Construction & Repair
• Underground Utility Construction & Rehabilitation
• Demolition
• Concrete Construction
• Environmental Construction & Remediation

Responsibilities:

• Bid Set Up
• Bid Document Tracking
• Performing take offs
• Reviewing drawings and specifications
• Attending pre-bid meetings
• Maintaining & Updating estimating software
• Preparing subcontractor bid packages
• Soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Drafting pre-bid RFIs

Qualified candidates should have:

• 3 years' up to 30 years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Construction estimating experience with whole building demolition and environmental remedation (REQUIRED)
• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred but not required

$80k-$150k (dependent upon experience) plus bonuses!
