  • Provide project management for monitoring multiple projects Project Manager understands that they are primarily responsible for the financial and operational success of the project.

  • The Project Manager acts as the Team Leader for the project, coordinating and executing the project between all internal and external parties and ensuring the completion of the project meets or exceeds established goals; budget, safety, performance, client satisfaction.


  • Assesses the requirements of the general contract, plans, and specifications to gain complete understanding of the scope of work of assigned projects.

  • Collaborate with Estimator, Operations Manager and Assistant Project Manager to review, adjust and finalize phasing and budgets for the project.

  • Assures absolutely no work is started on any projects until a phasing and budgets have been reviewed, adjusted, approved and input into HCSS

  • Collaborates with Operations Managers in the assignment of job

  • Communicated project budget, operational and safety plans are communicated to and agreed with by Operations Manager and site supervisors.

  • Collaborates with Purchasing Manager to solicits and obtain competitive bids from subcontractors and vendors. Ensures timely buy-out of subcontracts and purchase orders.

  • Ensures timely mobilization of assigned projects by overseeing jobsite start-

  • Creates construction schedule and shares with internal Ensures that client requests for schedule changes, phasing changes or site logistics doesnt have a negative financial impact on the project.

  • Implements construction schedule while ensuring the project is completed in accordance with the contract requirements, specifications, and quality.

  • Maintains documentation of reasons for delays and submits requests for extension of time and/or additional

  • Reviews Weekly HCSS Cost

  • Prepares weekly job status report, profitability report and

  • Reviews monthly change order reports

  • Works with CO manager for timely approval of change orders to improve cash flow

  • Ensures that absolutely no change order work is completed without either an approved change order or a formal change directive from the client that ties the added work to our contract.

  • Gives feedback for and approves the submission of periodic pay

  • Reviews monthly cost reports and gives overall Cost to Complete projections to CFO for use in the monthly

  • Investigate problems and implement corrective action as

  • Understand and comply with industry practices, processes and

  • Comply with all company policies regarding project management reports, schedules, safety and customer satisfaction issues.

  • Conduct job site meetings to ensure overall quality of

  • Oversees the preparation, negotiation, and execution of change proposals, ensuring revisions are made to the master cost breakdown as a result of change orders and management revisions.

  • Upon completion of each project, ensures that all punch list and remedial work are expeditiously performed, and that all subcontractor and material supplier claims and counterclaims are settled promptly.

  • Collaborates with Operations Managers and Warehouse Manager for accounting, transfer, and storage of equipment and tools.

  • Fosters collaborative relationships with the Owner, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers to ensure project decisions and outcomes align with Matrix project goals.

  • Resolves all subcontractor scheduling, quality-of-work, and coordination issues between trades in their earliest stages.

  • Participates in the formation and execution of the Companys monthly project financial review and takes a leadership role in establishing consistent and objective measures of each projects performance.

  • Provides guidance and accountability to Operations Managers and Assistant Project Manager regarding project goals.

  • Seeks and explores future business opportunities for the company through the associations and contacts developed throughout the course of a project and involvement in the community.

  • Looks for ways to enhance and streamline processes and presents innovative ideas for

  • Works and contributes in a leadership role in the Company to establish a project management process, project reporting process (monthly reports, KPI dashboard, ) that will allow for transparent, objective, and continuous management of the companys project portfolio as well as a process for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a champion and role model for the successful implementation, operation, and development of the any company initiatives including Information Technology, processes, etc.

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering

  • At least five years of construction experience

  • Construction Manager certification by the American Institute of Constructors or Construction Management Association of America preferred.


  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a
