Nettie Leivasy Public Service District: CONTRACT NO. 1: WATER STORAGE TANK REPAINTING PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 2: WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 3: WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS FOR NEW CLEARWELL AND BACKWASH PUMP ADDITION PROJECT. The work to be bid upon is described as follows: Contract No. 1: consists of work on the 125,000 gallon, elevated tank #2, including sandblast, remove and dispose of existing lead-based paint (inside and out), repainting of tank (inside and out), cleaning interior of tank and removal of accumulated sediments, make required repairs and additions as shown on the plans, restore site, flush and disinfect repainted tank, pre-construction video, site fencing, mobilization and demobilization and all other work incidental to the project as shown on the plans and described in the specifications that is necessary for a complete and operable refurbished water storage tank. Also, erect, maintain and remove site sign and all other necessary work and appurtenances required to complete the water storage tank repainting shown on the plans and described in the specifications.The total construction time for Contract No. 1 is limited to one hundred eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the contract documents.Contract No. 2: consists of the replacement of 10 pressure reducing stations, refurbishment of 1 pressure reducing station, installation of eight 4-inch and six 6-inch gate valves on existing lines, installation of 10 leak detection meter assemblies, purchase and delivery of 750 radio read water meters, installation of new aerial creek crossing (including valves, piping and support structure), install new 350 gpm alternate raw water pump station (with telemetry), replace altitude valve at Canvas Tank, install control valve and vaults at Canvas Tank, install control valve and vaults at Leivasy tank. Included also shall be preconstruction video, site restoration, traffic control, environmental controls, mobilization/ demobilization; Also, the replacement of existing packed seals with mechanical seals on raw water pumps and replacement of 2 pumps in the Carl booster pump station and all other necessary work and appurtenances required to complete the water system improvements as shown on the plans and described in the specifications.The total construction time for Contract No. 1 is limited to two hundred seventy (270) consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the contract documents.Contract No. 3: consists of the demolition and removal (including lead paint abatement) of an existing 125,000 gallon elevated water storage tank, construction of a new 231,000 gallon baffled clearwell tank, a new 1,000 gpm backwash pumping station, installation of associated piping, valves, electrical work and control system, preconstruction video, site restoration, mobilization / demobilization, temporary piping, valves and fittings; provide water plant optimization/training services for water treatment plant and all other necessary work and appurtenances required to complete the water system improvements,
